4.29 mi/7553 steps 389 calories
Apple and peach juice this morning. I decided to walk up to 125th Street to look for Black Soap today. Took a detour through the Harlem Meer and enjoyed the park. Listening and walking to the beat of Amel Larrieux's “Bravebird” and “Orange Glow”.
The African Day Parade was going on in full swing, and I stopped by a few vendors. I bought a large cake (about 5-6 generous size bars) of African Black Soap for $10.00 and a tub of shea butter for $5.00. Super cheap. I also purchase a pair of large, orange leather hoops and a kola nut necklace. Beautiful. I was very warm today, so I worked up a sweat.
Got home and took a shower with the Black soap and moisturized with the Shea Butter. Very soft skin and a glowing complexion afterwards. I wished I had bought more soap. That price is unreal. Made a large salad with avacado, lettuce, chick peas, red cabbage, mushrooms, and tomatoes. I have only had broiled salmon for animal protein in the past few weeks, and I feel wonderful. Fresher breath and non-existent body odor. I am considering going pesco-vegetarian (just fish, vegetables, fruits and grains, and cutting out even the chicken. I feel absolutely radiant inside and out. Never felt better in my life. I give all credit to my Lord and Savior, and I don't care who doesn't like it.
